Go back in time at Orr Hot Springs. There’s no cell phone service, no wifi, and no televisions on the property. Unplug from the modern world and reconnect with nature as you enjoy the natural mineral springs and the beauty of the surroundings.
Tucked away in the hills near Ukiah, the county seat, Orr Hot Springs has drawn generations with its natural hot springs, from native Pomo tribes to travelers on the stagecoach line in pioneering times to the present day. The therapeutic waters were said to relieve symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism, among other ailments.
Today, the property boasts communal and private hot pools, a refreshing, spring-fed cold pool, as well as a pool with a moderate temperature beside the cold pool. Relax in the steam room or dry sauna after enjoying the pools. All pools are clothing optional. Bring your own towels, robes, toiletries, and slippers. Towels and robes may be rented at the Springs at a nominal charge.
Orr Hot Springs is located just a couple of miles from the magnificent Montgomery Woods, a cathedral-like grove of virgin redwoods with some of the tallest trees in the world. Enjoy a hike in this magical place before soaking in the mineral-rich baths at the Springs for a perfect day of recreation and relaxation.
A day use pass is $50 per person. The property managers request that children be accompanied by adults at all times and respect the quiet and tranquility of the environment.
